Easy Chicken Tacos that pair perfectly with the Featured Watermelon margarita for a great Taco Tuesday at home.
Ingredients: • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into small pieces • 1 tablespoon olive oil • ½ teaspoon chili powder • ½ teaspoon ground cumin • ½ teaspoon garlic powder • Salt and pepper to taste • 8-10 small corn or flour tortillas • Toppings such as diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, diced avocado, salsa, and sour cream
Instructions: • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. • Warm the tortillas in the microwave or on a skillet over low heat. • Fill each tortilla with the cooked chicken and your desired toppings, such as diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, diced avocado, salsa, and sour cream. • Serve immediately and enjoy! Note: You can also add other ingredients to the chicken mixture, such as diced onions, bell peppers, or jalapeños, for added flavor and texture.
