Mestizo KOL El Pastór Corazón Temper Breddos Tacos Taquería Santo Remedio Cravings La Carreta Tacos Padre
Mestizo In London, it can be challenging to find authentic Mexican food, yet Mestizo provides it. This establishment is praised for delivering a comfortable experience, as well as good Mexican dishes that are true to tradition and does great honour to the country’s vivid tastes. The restaurant serves many of the Mexican dishes that are harder to fine in London, such as nopales (grilled cactus leaf with tomato, onion and queso fresco) and pastel de Elote (a special kind of cornbread), as well as classic favourites like enchiladas and tostadas. Their margaritas are also fantastic, and the steak is perfectly prepared. Additionally, vegans need not worry because they have a menu that covers that too. El Milagro is taking over at this Clanbrassil Street Bar
If you haven't tried the tacos from El Milagro, you need to ASAP. I first got my hands on them at Pups in the Park in Marlay Park back in September, and to say I've been dreaming about them ever since is an understatement. They were flavorsome, filling, and had a bit of a quick with their delicious pineapple relish. Essentially, if you don't already know about their incredible tacos, it's time to get to know.
Exciting news for regulars of 57 the Headline; El Milagro will be taking over the Clanbrassil Street bar's kitchen every Tuesday from now onwards.
El Milagro took to Instagram to share the news with their followers.
"We're very thrilled to join our pals from @57theheadline every Tuesday from 6 pm for a very special *Taco Tuesday* pop up. Come on down for some delicious tacos n antojitos paired with an outstanding craft beer and wine selection."
Of course tacos will be on the menu, but you'll also be able to order their sharing nibbles, including totopos and kekitas.
23 under-the-radar Tampa Bay taco spots you need to try before you die
By Alexandria Jones at cltampa.com
When it comes to tacos, Tampa Bay has some very classic, well-known haunts. But there are also smaller spots with some cult followings that deserve a little shine. A few of these these taquerias, food trucks, and cafes are easy to miss, but they're hawking some of the best tacos in town. From secret gas stations tacos, to lesser-known chains, to up-coming, fusion-fueled twists, you certainly have your work cut out for you.
4901 N Florida Ave, Tampa, 813-495-2635 Get ready for perfection. While it boasts a smaller menu with most of the usual suspects, simple street tacos are the move here. Tortillas are pressed to order and toasted on the flat top, no double up required. Carnitas are juicy and crispy all in one, with the extra unctuousness that comes with a slow cook in fat. The pineapple adorning the al pastor sees some time on the flat top as well, giving it that extra bit of caramelized sweetness. The chorizo comes with a lovely dose of baking spice that keeps it from being too smokey. And if you’re feeling adventurous, the lengua (beef tongue) is so perfectly tender it melts in your mouth. Don’t sleep on the tamales it offers on weekends!—Daniel Guess
5305 Henry Ave., Tampa Sheltered in a shack behind a soccer field the Michocán native prides herself on the no-frills menu with an affordable price tag. Four for $10 tacos can be enjoyed with a smooth cerveza from the Cinco clubhouse a few steps away. Don't skip the torta either. —Ray Roa
8307 N Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, 813-679-8609 Whether you’re depositing funds at the PNC Bank or getting an oil change at the Jiffy Lube, reward yourself for adulting with a sope, quesadilla, or nopales.

By Jack Rattenbury @ secretatlanta.co
One of the best way to honor Latinx Heritage Month is by supporting Atlanta's Latinx-owned businesses, so here's a round up of fifteen awesome Latinx restaurants
National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually from September 15 until October 15. The month celebrates the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements for the United States. A great way to honor this special month is by supporting Atlanta’s Latinx-owned businesses. Here are fifteen awesome restaurants you can support this Hispanic Heritage Month, and year-round!
1. Casi Cielo
This beloved Mexican restaurant will transport you directly to the Oaxacan coast, serving up an unbeatable fare that’s inspired by the gorgeous region in South Mexico. We’re big fans of their quesadillas, but you can’t leave Casi Cielo without trying a cocktail (or three)!
2. The Freakin Incan
This no-nonsense eatery serves up an impressive selection of Peruvian dishes. With quirky and colorful décor, you’ll feel right at home at this beloved Roswell gem. We recommend trying out the Lomo Saltado, an irresistible sirloin stir-fry with veggies and rice.
In the last couple of years, chef Dana Rodriguez has launched a mezcal brand (Doña Loca), been named the new executive chef of Casa Bonita, nabbed another James Beard Award nomination and opened her third restaurant, Cantina Loca. Starting August 2, the eatery at 2890 Zuni Street will be offering a new special: Loca’s T&T. Available every Tuesday, it includes a Cantina Loca margarita and two tacos for $10.

Tacos at La Diabla.
La Diabla, our 2022 pick for Best New Restaurant, recently added another special to its lineup: Street Taco Tuesdays. All day every Tuesday, you can order street taco-sized versions of everything on La Diabla's taco menu for $3 each. The restaurant also serves $3 tacos during happy hour (from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday), as well as its popular Jose's Gone Fishing deal (a margarita and two al pastor tacos for $5) on Wednesdays.
A New York City Newsstand Turned Into An Indian Taco Restaurant
By Gary Stern
The fast-service restaurant Taco Mahal started because of the owner’s father’s newsstand. And that’s not a misprint.
After Danikkah Josan’s father said he was ready to shutter his compact 200-square-foot newsstand near busy Sheraton Square in the West Village of Manhattan after 30 years, she urged him not to give up his lease. “Don’t cancel it,” Josan told him, “I have an idea for a restaurant that combines Indian food with Mexican tacos.”
Josan, who was 26 at the time (and is now 29), developed a business plan. She majored in business administration at Texas A&M and had been working at Capital One Finance in Texas. But her dad had also owned an Indian restaurant in Greenwich Village, Rangoli, which exposed her to the restaurant business including equipment companies and food suppliers.
For the second time, your favorite spot for tacos in the Jacksonville area is El Agave Azul! Starting as a food truck, the taco joint flourished, blooming into two restaurants -- one in Orange Park and Baymeadows. The owners are from Mexico, so you know those tacos are out of this world!
“Come on and try a little piece of Mexico here in Jacksonville, FL,” the website says. The taco eatery offers Mexican street corn, specialty tacos, burritos, plates, quesadillas and pizza -- yes, pizza! Its Birria Pizza is created with three layers of tortillas, tons of cheese, sauce, onions, cilantro, meats, and more. And we can’t forget about the weekly deals, margaritas, beer, wine and desserts!
Where to Find 3 Oak Cliff Taco Spots That Aren't Listed on Yelp
By Brian Reinhart - Dallas Observer
During Hidden Gems Week, the Observer food and drink writers are celebrating an abundance of diverse, delicious restaurants and bars around Dallas, places that don’t often (or ever) get mentioned by big-name food media, trendsetters, bloggers or chefs. We’re taking you outside of the ordinary to help you discover something new.
Dallas is one of the hottest, most thriving Mexican food cities in the United States. Just about every neighborhood has a great taco restaurant, and south of the Trinity River, there are dozens. Some of them you know about. Trompo received national attention from Bon Appetit magazine; Tacos Mariachi was the Observer’s Best Taqueria of 2016; El Si Hay, a few blocks from Bishop Arts, has had a strong cult of fans for years and the ever-present line to prove it; the new Maskaras Mexican Grill got a lot of attention for its lucha libre-themed atmosphere.
But many of Oak Cliff’s taco joints don’t have such a following yet. Some of them aren’t listed on Yelp or Google Maps. We hate to betray some of the neighborhood’s best-kept secrets, but it’s our job — and these are small businesses, so revealing a “secret” spot means helping the owners find new customers and pay the bills. That’s a good cause.
Here’s your guide to three taquerias and Mexican restaurants in Oak Cliff that you won’t find on Yelp, along with suggested orders and, in some cases, what to avoid.

Santa Barbara’s history and culture are deeply intertwined with Mexico, so it’s only natural that Mexican cuisine has long played a prominent role in Santa Barbara’s culinary landscape. This makes Santa Barbara a particularly delicious destination for taco lovers because stumbling upon restaurants and taquerias serving up mouth-watering tacos and authentic Mexican fare is dangerously easy to do here on The American Riviera®.

Let the aroma of freshly baked tortillas guide you from Milpas Street and the Funk Zone to the waterfront, downtown State Street, and beyond as you home in on the top tacos, superior salsas made from scratch, and other addictively delicious hand-crafted concoctions.
If you're a fan of tacos, the City of Menifee has a new initiative that might be for you. The Menifee Taco Trail is a brand-new application launched by the city that hopes to attract customers to over 15 different taco-serving restaurants across Menifee.
To participate, all customers have to do is sign up for their taco trail pass. From there, participants will then have an interactive map that shows all the participating eateries.
But it's just not Mexican restaurants participating. "Tacos can transcend your traditional view of them, and if any Menifee restaurant has a taco plate that they would encourage people to try out, they are welcome to participate in the taco trail and join the fun," said Menifee Economic Development Director Gina Gonzalez.

Written by RAPHAEL BRION & NICOLAI MCCRARY

When you’re desperately hungry (or hungover), the best breakfast tacos are the ones closest to your house. But we set out to find the actual best breakfast tacos in the city - the ones worth driving across town to eat. As an homage to LA’s Hispanic roots, join us on our Downtown Los Angeles Taco Tour to eat Los Angeles’ most iconic dish: the taco. Along the way you’ll learn about different styles of tacos while tasting both traditional and innovative tacos.
Our Taco Tour visits 3 taquerias – three appetizers in total with a sprinkling of culinary history and stories in between.
Our Los Angeles Taco Tour focuses on quality over quantity. Like a great sushi meal, our goal is to have you sample the highest quality ingredients – small dishes with huge flavor. This is not enough food for lunch, more of a sampling of different types of tacos.
Instead of Taco Tuesday, Sweden Celebrates Taco Friday
BY MICHELE DEBCZAK
If you think Swedish cuisine is limited to meatballs and herring, you've never celebrated Fredagsmys—the Swedish version of Taco Tuesday. The day, which translates to "cozy Fridays," is a chance for Swedes to get together with loved ones and eat comfort food at the end of a long week. And instead of indulging in more traditional Swedish fare, the Fredagsmys cuisine of choice is Tex-Mex.
San Diego boasts some of the best Mexican cuisine in the United States. Every local knows Pacific Beach is the place to be on any given Tuesday, better known as Taco Tuesday. Here is a list of the spiciest spots to celebrate our favorite weekly holiday.

Quick: Name a U.S. city with an incredible taco scene. Chances are you landed on somewhere like Los Angeles or San Antonio, famous for raising the humble taco stop to destination-worthy status, but it’s unlikely you thought of Kansas City, Kansas. Unless you live there, in which case this is a no-brainer for you, you probably didn’t realize that KCK is the true taco capital of the United States. Home to more than 50 taco spots, many of them family businesses, the “Heart of America” is a diverse city with no ethnic majority and a population that is more than 25% Latino- or Hispanic-identifying, most of which can be traced to Mexican origin. Unlike other U.S. cities, Kansas City’s Mexican population comes from nearly all of Mexico’s cultural regions, which means KCK doesn’t specialize in carnitas, mole or sopes, but is home to masters of all Mexican dishes. If you can find it in Mexico, there’s a family in Kansas City serving it today. With dozens of taquerias, restaurants and markets to choose from in one small city, it could be overwhelming to tackle this taco wonderland without a little direction, so here’s your quick-start guide on where to begin in Kansas City, Kansas, America’s true taco capital.
This list is presented by Tecate, the official beer of L.A. TACO.
Eating tacos in Los Angeles has changed considerably. Over the last decade, more and more regional style taquerías found an audience. Birria is no longer just a special occasion dish, TJ-style tacos continue to have long lines, the crispy taco had a much-needed resurgence, corn tortillas were revolutionized, and unforgettable flour tortilla tacos are no longer a rarity. While tacos are one of the most democratic and blue-collar foods, they can also be ephemeral and sophisticated—dictated by what’s in season. The taco is a many-faced god.
Depending on what part of L.A. you’re from, the kinds of tacos you’re exposed to are entirely about access and location. But since L.A. is such a transient city, you’re usually only a short drive away from your next amazing taco-eating experience.
Around 2016, it was declared that London was in the midst of a “taco revolution.” It was big and inaccurate talk. And yet, the reasoning behind it was somehow understandable. More than a revolution, it was simply the case that suddenly London had options for tacos, where all that had existed before were one or two standouts or the sub-par chain restaurant offerings that fed into a wildly inaccurate perception of Mexican food as “a blunt object... all mushed avocado and chilli and vinegary notes, wrapped up in flatbreads with ambitions above their station.” While LA, or even New York still has nothing to fear by way of competition, London’s newcomers have brought a nuanced look at what Mexican food means today and focus on quality that has helped to make things at least a little better.
Mexican food in Prague is “not the best, but good enough to kill the craving.” So says one Mexican expat summing up the general consensus. If that’s true, why isn’t anyone asking the experts? Where can we find the good stuff? We asked Mexican and Mexican-American expats, including the 2,100 member Mexicanos en Praga (Mexicans in Prague) Facebook group, to share their uncensored opinions. Combined with LasSaboritas reviews, here is a breakdown of the best Mexican food in Prague.

What better way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month than with some of the country’s finest tacos?
While we don’t really need an excuse to eat more tacos, celebrating Latinx culture and cuisine in the name of Hispanic Heritage Month is certainly a good one. And Southern California is home to some of the best—from roadside taquerias just north of the border to more formal restaurants where chefs take creative liberties with the contents of their tacos. Most of these restaurants are small, family-run spots with short and sweet menus. Many are known to excel at one particular kind of taco or have staple signatures and it’s generally best to go along with popular wisdom. But how you eat your taco—standing up, sitting down, in your car or hovering over it—is entirely up to you.
Here are nine picks for tacos across Southern California: Let's go >>
