Bodega Laguna Cocina & Cantina theme mixes the best the Mexicoast has to offer by mashing up traditional Mexican cuisine with a focus on mariscos (seafood). Executive chef Angel Velazquez was the force behind the elevated menu. Simple items like Mexican street corn and featured entradas take you straight to the Mexicoast with dishes like Branzino Zarandeado with chile citrus sauce or “PCH Tacos” an inspired take on the ubiquitous street tacos craze. You need to try Bodega Laguna! Everything I tried was delicious and I can’t wait to go back for more. The service was perfect and the home feeling is very welcoming. You can even have dinner while on a couch, which contributes to the at home feeling.
