Nothing says “Dreamy” quite like a bright and fruity margarita. Whether you’re lounging or kicking off an epic Taco Tuesday feast, a Raspberry Margarita is the perfect way to add a sweet, tangy flair to the occasion. Made with ripe raspberries, zesty lime, and a touch of spearmint, this cocktail is a crowd-pleaser. Here’s how to make your own!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz raspberry liqueur (optional for a more intense berry flavor)
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz raspberry fruit juice (or mixed berry juice)
  • ½ oz sugar syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Fresh raspberries (for muddling and garnish)
  • Spearmint leaves (for garnish)
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt or sugar for rimming (optional)

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Glass: Start by rimming your glass with sugar or salt (depending on your preference). Rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it into a plate of sugar or salt to coat.
  • Muddle the Berries: In a cocktail shaker, add a handful of fresh raspberries and muddle them gently with a spoon or muddler to release the juices. This will give the margarita its bright color and fresh raspberry flavor.
  • Add Ingredients to the Shaker: Pour the silver tequila, raspberry liqueur (if using), freshly squeezed lime juice, raspberry juice, and sugar syrup into the shaker over the muddled raspberries. Add a few ice cubes to chill the mixture.
  • Shake it Up: Shake the cocktail shaker vigorously for about 15 seconds until the ingredients are well mixed and chilled.
  • Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice cubes. If you like your margaritas extra smooth, you can double strain to remove any seeds.
  • Garnish: Finish off your Raspberry Margarita by garnishing it with a few fresh raspberries and a sprig of spearmint for that refreshing aroma and pop of color.

Optional Twist: For a fizzy version, top off your margarita with a splash of soda water or sparkling wine to add a light, bubbly touch.

Pairing Tips: This Raspberry Margarita pairs perfectly with grilled shrimp tacos or spicy chicken quesadillas. Its sweet, tart flavor balances savory and spicy dishes, making it a great addition to any Taco Tuesday lineup!

Enjoy this vibrant cocktail and toast to delicious times with your friends and family! Cheers!
