Maiz first opened in Seattle’s famous Pike Place Market in November of 2021 to commemorate the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos. After the warm reception we’ve received with our grab-and-go service there, Maiz Molino was developed as a space to invite our guests to enjoy table service and a new menu from head chef Vico. On September 29th, in the middle of Hispanic Heritage Month and on National Maiz Day in Mexico, Maiz Molino was opened on 6th Avenue in Belltown to become Seattle’s new favorite restaurant.

At Maiz Molino, we specialize in the production and promotion of heirloom Mexican masa. Hand shaped shareable antojitos, fresh seafood, crafted cocktails, and contemporary takes on Mexican classics feature throughout the menu. Beautiful artwork and decor surround the dining room with a friendly staff readily available to assist with anything you need.
