Born in Chihuahua, Mexico and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. In my life, my mother was the foundation and roots of our family. She was a strong Mexican mother who successfully raised nine children, I was the second youngest of nine. My mom spent most of her days in the kitchen preparing homemade traditional food, and for financial reasons she started selling burritos straight from her home kitchen, that is where I got my first taste and passion of cooking at the age of 10 years old. Ever since then I have shared every dish that I learned from my mother. Thus, the birth of my business, Añejo Taqueria “Aged to Perfection”, was born. From a far away kitchen in Chihuahua, Mexico to a family run food truck in the heart of North Texas. I am now prepared to share my mothers traditional cooking around the Metroplex, and alongside me, my wife of 22 years and partner for life Angie.
