Wahoo’s, the surf-skate–rooted, “freshly made, Pacific-inspired” brand, is celebrating its 38th anniversary with a free public event at its first location, bringing together food lovers, music fans, and the local community for a memorable afternoon of giving back and good energy.
Since 1988, the Wahoo’s Brothers have built Wahoo’s from a Costa Mesa taco stand into a beloved multistate brand, blending Mexican, Brazilian, and Asian flavors drawn from their heritage and surf adventures. The company continues to champion fresh food, surf culture, and community connection as part of its mission to “fuel your adventures” and “nourish communities.”
Free admission and special perks for the first 100 guests who bring a pet supply donation for nonprofit The Good Pawject, including free tacos, on-site screen-printed Wahoo’s × Girlfriends limited T-shirt, complimentary CaliWater beverages, and access to giveaways from event partners. The celebration will also feature meet-and-greet opportunities with Girlfriends (Orange County’s breakout band); photo ops with founders Wing, Ed, and Mingo; and a chance to experience the brand’s legacy on its “home soil.”
