A great way to use up your leftover holiday turkey!
Ingredients
- 3 cups turkey, shredded or diced
- 1 onion, peeled and chopped
- 4 cloves peeled garlic, finely chopped
- 1 cup green chile sauce (see Tomatillo Sauce recipe)
- 2 cups potatoes; peeled, cooked and diced into 1 inch cubes
- 1 cup chicken broth, turkey broth or vegetable broth
- Tamale Kits (optional)
Directions
Mix all ingredients together and simmer for 20 minutes until all liquid is absorbed. Use as a filling for your tamales.
