September brings new routines, busier calendars, and the return of school, football, and regular schedules. But getting back into a routine doesn’t have to be boring.
That’s where Taco Tuesday comes in. Tuesday may not be the most celebrated day of the week, but it should be. It’s the perfect excuse to step away from the inbox, gather your people, and enjoy a table full of tacos, chips, salsa, and margaritas.
Taco Tuesday has no rules.
It can mean a neighborhood taqueria, a new restaurant, a family dinner or a night when nobody feels like cooking. Order birria, fish tacos, crispy tacos, breakfast tacos or whatever sounds good.
The important thing is making Tuesday something to look forward to.
Try a new taco spot. Order something you’ve never had. Find the salsa everyone says is too hot. When you’re traveling, make local tacos part of the adventure.
Some people collect postcards. We collect tacos.
Going out isn’t required. Set out warm tortillas, grilled chicken, carne asada, shrimp, crispy potatoes or roasted vegetables. Add salsa, guacamole, onions, cilantro, cheese, jalapeños and plenty of lime.
Put on a playlist, make margaritas and let everyone build their own tacos. A regular Tuesday night can quickly become a party.
Tacos are better together, so use Taco Tuesday to reconnect.
Invite a friend, gather the family, meet your neighbors or make it a standing date with someone you love. Tuesday comes around every seven days. Use it as an excuse to spend more time around the table.
This month, don’t waste your Tuesdays.
Try a new taco. Support a local restaurant. Make dinner at home. Order the margarita. Invite someone along. Stay at the table a little longer. Routines don’t have to be boring. The best ones give us something to look forward to.
Find the tacos. Find your people. Upgrade your Tuesday.
