Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade mix: chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper)
- 2/3 cup water
- 10 flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
- Sour cream (optional)
- Salsa (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Turkey
- In a large skillet, cook ground turkey over medium heat until fully browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain any excess liquid.
- Season It Up
- Add taco seasoning and water to the turkey. Stir and let simmer until the mixture thickens and the flavors meld, about 5 minutes.
- Warm tortillas
- Assemble the Tacos
- Spoon seasoned ground turkey into each shell.
- Top with shredded cheese, crisp lettuce, and diced tomato.
- Add sour cream or salsa if you like.
- Serve & Enjoy
