Easy Cinco de Mayo Margarita Pitcher Recipe

Time to get ready for Cinco de Mayo. It’s time to celebrate with a classic and refreshing drink that’s sure to be a hit. Whip up a pitcher of this super easy margarita to enjoy this weekend. This easy recipe ensures that you spend less time mixing drinks and more time enjoying the company.

Ingredients:

2 cups Tequila Herradura (silver is best)
1 cup orange liqueur
1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 8-10 limes)
1/2 cup simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated until sugar dissolves, then cooled)
Salt or Tajin seasoning (for rimming glasses)
Lime wedges (for garnish)
Ice cubes

Instructions:

Prepare Your Glasses: Start by rimming your glasses with salt or Tajin seasoning. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rim into a shallow dish filled with salt or Tajin.
Mix the Ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the tequila, triple sec, freshly squeezed lime juice, and simple syrup. Stir well to ensure all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
Chill the Mixture: Place the pitcher in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld together and ensures that your margaritas are ice-cold and refreshing.
Prepare for Serving: Fill each rimmed glass with ice cubes to keep your margaritas frosty.
Pour and Garnish: Remove the pitcher from the refrigerator and give it a final stir. Pour the margarita mixture into each glass, filling them about 3/4 full. Garnish each glass with a lime wedge for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
